The Story So Far...........
Chichester canoe club was founded in January 2007, after several phone calls an advert in the paper and a meeting in a church hall; Chichester canoe club was born.
The aim of the club is paddle with likeminded people in a safe environment and to provide the people with the opportunity of development in whatever style of paddling they wish to do.
Our club operates from April to October on the Chichester Canal Basin meeting just off the main basin accessed through Chichester High School (See map) for a 6 o clock start where members have the opportunity to access high quality coaching and paddle in a relaxed social environment. We are able to provide sessions for beginners most Fridays if you wish to come along a give it a try, all safety equipment can be provided for these sessions; for more information on this please contact us via our contacts page. Once the evening has drawn in our winter programme starts, where there is a comprehensive programme of trips away, swimming pool sessions and events for members to access.
